The Louisiana Scholarship Program (LSP) that previously funded grades kindergarten and up at non-public schools for qualifying applicants, has been replaced by a new program called LA GATOR (Louisiana Giving All True Opportunity) Scholarship Program.  
 
From the LDOE press release, “Implementation of LA GATOR will be phased in over the course of multiple years, with the initial phase prioritizing students who participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program voucher program the previous school year.”  
 
More information about how to apply for the LA GATOR program is expected by March 1, 2025. LDOE is asking interested families to sign up to receive updates about Louisiana's Education Savings Accounts for the LA Gator newsletter to receive updates.
