Through NOLA PS, the following records can be retrieved:
- Transcripts of Students who graduated from an Orleans Parish School Board Institution prior to 2005.
- Transcripts of Students who graduated from an Orleans Parish School Board Institution after 2005 (Warren Easton, McDonogh # 35, and McMain)
- Transcripts of Students who graduated from a Recovery School District Institution requires a third-party request and may take longer to retrieve.
- Unofficial Transcripts of Students who attended school but did not graduate.
- Standardized State Testing Records
How To Request
Records can be requested by clicking the button below, filling out the form, and submitting payment. Records will be mailed or available for pickup typically within 10-15 days of request receipt. If a record takes longer to process, a delay notification will be sent.

Unfortunately, cash, card and personal checks are not accepted. Money orders or company checks are accepted and to be made payable to: Orleans Parish School Board

If we are unable to locate immediate local records, we may contact the Louisiana Department of Education on your behalf to complete your request. This may add additional processing time.

Stop by our office at the above address and fill out a Transcript/Diploma Request Form. Someone will call you once the document is ready for pick up. If it cannot be picked up, it will be mailed to the address provided. Please note coming into the office does not guarantee same day service.
Due to the confidential nature of the records, the graduate must authorize the release of a transcript or diploma. A transcript to be picked up by a second or third party must be accompanied by a signed written authorization from the graduate and a copy of the graduate’s driver’s license or other state-issued source of identification. This written authorization must specify the name of the person and what they are authorized to do. Photo ID is also required for the release of transcripts and diplomas.

Students who have earned the Carnegie units required for graduation but have not successfully completed the required components of the applicable state assessments within the Graduation Exit Exam (GEE 21 or “Old” GEE), are eligible to participate in an opportunity to retest. The following request forms must be completed to begin the research process that is necessary to confirm eligibility.

If you are only seeking results of standardized tests such as the ACT or SAT, there is no guarantee that a final official record is available in the local records. Contacting the Test Administrator entity is recommended (there may be an additional fee):

Governance Chart/List (insert)
This means either 1) the person did not attend school in Orleans Parish, 2) the record may exist under another name, spelling, classification or time frame, 3) the record was lost during the Orleans Parish school system’s conversion of pre-2000 historical data to a new data system in the year 2000, or 4) the record was physically stored at a school site and was destroyed due to flood, mold and/or mildew resulting from Hurricane Katrina of 2005.
